Summary

Description This product is a broadly neutralizing mouse antibody against MERS-CoV S protein. It binds to the N-terminal domain (NTD) of the spike glycoprotein and inhibits the cell entry of MERS-CoV with high potency. The 7D10 bound the wild-type NTD with an affinity of around 25 nM.

Application Notes The NTD-specific monoclonal antibody, 7D10, was successfully isolated with an EC₅₀ of roughly 0.31 μg/mL in ELISA. Its neutralizing activity was dose-dependent, exhibiting an IC₅₀ of about 0.18 μg/mL against pseudotyped virus and a comparable IC50 of around 0.2 μg/mL against live virus (EMC strain).
