Description | The anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibody is a mouse IgG, clone SW186. This product is a recombinant antibody provided by Creative Biolabs. SW186 can neutralize major SARS-CoV-2 variants of concern, including Beta, Delta, and Omicron, as well as SARS-CoV-1. It is a broadly neutralizing antibody against SARS coronaviruses and binds to a unique and conserved epitope of the spike protein. It neutralizes diverse SARS coronaviruses by binding to a conserved RBD epitope, which could serve as a target for further antibody development. |

Application Notes | To measure the binding of antibodies with target antigens, 50 ng of S-ecto or RBD was coated on each well of the 96-well ELISA plate at 4°C overnight. After washing with PBST, plates were incu_x0002_bated with a blocking buffer at room tem_x0002_perature for 2 hours. Antibodies at different dilutions were added to the plates and incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. After washing with PBST, plates were incubated with anti-human-IgG-HRP for 45 min. Plates were washed with PBST 5 times between two steps. Finally, TMB substrate solution was incubated with the plate for 15 min before addition of a stop solution. Absorbance at 450nm was measured using CLARIOstar Plus Microplate Reader. |
