Description | The antibody XG005 is a human mAb specific for SARS-CoV-2 Spike S1 protein. XG005 blocked the interaction of SARS-CoV-2 RBD with the cellular receptor ACE2. The antibody-RBD interaction focused on two loop regions of RBD, with the latter overlapping with the RBM. And the antibody induces the SARS-CoV-2 S conformational equilibrium toward opened RBDs. |

Application Notes | ELISA plates were coated with 10 µg/mL of S-ECD or RBD of wild-type SARS-CoV-2, or its variants, including B.1.1.7, B.1.351 and P.1 in PBS overnight at 4°C. Plates were then blocked with 2% BSA in PBS. Antibodies were three-fold serially diluted with a maximum concentration of 10 µg/mL for eight dilutions and incubated for one hour at room temperature. Detection was performed after incubating with HRP-conjugated goat anti-human IgG for one hour at room temperature. The area under the curve (AUC) was calculated by using PRISM software. |
