Description | The antibody P5C3 is a human mAb specific for SARS-CoV-2 Spike S1 protein. It displayed the most potent activity in assays performed with the spike protein from Omicron BA.1, BA.1.1 that includes the R346K mutation and BA.2. It is a potent and broadly active neutralizing mAb that acts by blocking the spike-ACE2 interaction, not only targets a highly conserved region of the RBD but can also bind Omicron spike. |
