Description The antibody C548 is a human mAb specific for SARS-CoV-2 Spike S1 protein. It is a potent human monoclonal antibody (IC50 = 50 ng/mL) and has a commensurately lower binding affinity for WT RBD. It is encoded by the VH1-69 VH gene segment, which encodes a hydrophobic sequence at the tip of CDRH2 that has been shown to facilitate broad neutralization against influenza, hepatitis C, and HIV-1.
