Description | This is a human IgG1 monoclonal antibody that targets the human ADDL protein. Gamma-adducin is encoded by the ADD3 gene in humans. Adducins are composed of different subunits known as adducin alpha, beta, and gamma, and are heteromeric proteins. These three subunits are encoded by separate genes. They are part of a family of membrane skeletal proteins that play a role in assembling the spectrin-actin network in erythrocytes and at cell-cell contact sites in epithelial tissues. |
