Description | This antibody recognizes rat cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) which is an autoantigen in rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The binding affinity of 15A11 to COMP was determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and surface plasma resonance (SPR) technique. mAb 15A11 binds equally well to both mouse and human COMP protein. The mAb 15A11 showed slightly stronger binding to COMP in the absence of calcium than in the presence of calcium. |
