| Description | This is a fully human antibody which binds with high affinity to the main surface-antigen protein P46 of M. hyopneumoniae. P46 was also attached to a high-affinity ( KD = 29 nM) Fab fragment from a monoclonal antibody, enabling the identification of a structural epitope in P46 that specifically includes residues from the C-terminal domain. |

| Application Notes | All binding-affinity experiments were conducted using a Biacore T200, employing research-grade CM5 sensor chips at a temperature of 25°C. The most favorable electrostatic interactions with FabP46 were achieved in a sodium acetate buffer with a pH of 5.0, containing 10 mM concentration. To determine the association and dissociation rates, varying concentrations of this antibody (ranging from 3.1 to 200 nM) were injected. |
