Description | The mAb is an antibody which binds to Plasmodium falciparum reticulocyte-binding protein homolog 5 (PfRH5) with high affinity. The monoclonal antibody (mAb) enhanced the inhibitory effect of the top eight nAbs against 3D7 clone parasites. R5.011 primarily binds PfRH5 at the interface between the disordered N terminus and the rigid α-helical core, specifically at residues Y155-L162. R5.011 is no-neutralizing antibody. |
