| Description | This product is a new antibody that is capable of binding antigens that are expressed at the BBB in vivo. The blood-brain barrier (BBB) possesses a unique vascular phenotype that is induced by neighboring cells such as pericytes, astrocytes and neurons that together form the neurovascular unit. The results showed that clone 38 selectively bound to rat brain vessels in vivo with substantial brain vascular selectivity as judged by differential vascular immune-labeling in tissue sections. |
