Application Notes | Monoclonal antibody KAA8 has high affinity for angiotensin II (ka = 1.1×10⁹M⁻¹) and its relatively low cross-reactivity for angiotensin III (32%). The mAb would be particularly suited to measure angiotensin II with limited interference from angiotensin III. In animal models, doses of this antibody monoclonal antibody as low as 1.5 mg/kg were effective in reducing blood pressure. Maximum anti-hypertensive effects were observed with the antibody doses of 15 mg/kg. |
