Description | The clone ZIKV-116 binds to E, DIII and E-FLM. mAb ZIKV-116 binds to an epitope involving residues T309, E393, and K394 on the DIII (DIII-LR) side ridge, which was confirmed by ELISA. Mutations A310E and T335K in DIII-LR reduce binding to DIII. ZIKV-116 was effective against four of the five strains but was inactive against the original African strain MR 766. ZIKV-116 neutralizes ZIKV infection. |
