| Description | The antibody is a human recombinant antibody that specifically targets the preS1 region of the Hepatitis B Virus (HBV). The antibody has demonstrated a broad neutralization activity against two other HBV genotypes, namely B and C. The IC₅₀ values for genotype B, C, and D are 80 pM, 30 pM, and 10 pM, respectively. Additionally, the clone was evaluated for its ability to neutralize six HBV genotype C viruses obtained from plasma samples of HBV-infected patients. The antibody exhibited significantly higher potency compared to HBIG in neutralizing these viruses, with at least several hundred to 1000-fold greater effectiveness. |
