Description | The antibody was found to recognize one major epitope on the HA1 subunit and another smaller region adjacent to it. Residues critical for H7 recognition were identified by analyzing the interaction of the H7.5 with the HA1 subunit. It was found that the H7.5 epitope was well conserved in H7 subtypes, but poorly conserved in other subtypes. |
