Summary

Description This mouse neutralizing antibody is specific for MACV (Machupo virus) GP, termed as MAC1. It targets an overlapping binding site at the rim of the central TfR1-binding pocket that includes MACV GP1 loops 3, 7, and 10. The antibody has potent neutralizing ability against MACV.

Application Notes ELISA: Serially diluted Ab (starting at 10 mg/mL, 1:5 dilution in blocking buffer) was added for 2 h at room temperature.
Neutralization assay (Neut): Serial dilutions of MAbs were prepared with DMEM and incubated with MACV GP pseudotyped HIV-1 virus particles for 1 h at 37°C in 96-well plates.
