Description | The antibody is a chimeric monoclonal antibody that binds to structurally-related stimulants (i.e. (+)-methamphetamine (METH), (+)-amphetamine and (+)-MDMA), neurotransmitters (i.e.(+) - Dopamine, (-) - Norepinephrine, (-)-Epinephrine, Serotonin, γ-aminobutyric acid and L-Glutamate), selected medications ((+) - Pseudoephedrine, (+)-Norpseudoephedrine, (-)-Phenylephrine, (±)-Ephedrine, 2-Phenylethylamine and Tyramine), and other drugs of abuse ((-)-MDMA, (+)-MDA, Cocaine, Morphine and PCP). The mAb was designed to maintain the variable framework regions of the heavy and light chains of the mouse antibody including all three CDRs of both the heavy and the light chains. |
