Description | RV-Gn1 is a recombinant rabbit antibody that recognizes Rift Valley Fever Virus (RVFV) Gn. The specificity of the original form of the clone was confirmed by ELISA analysis. This antibody was able to neutralize RVFV in vitro. The antibody neutralizes RVFV in the plaque reduction neutralization test (PRNT) with median inhibitory concentration (IC50) values ranging from 2.1 to 3.0 μg/mL. The antibody protects against RVFV challenge in a mouse infection model. |
