Description | S9.6, a monoclonal antibody, was initially produced in mice through immunization with a synthetic DNA-RNA antigen derived from the ΦX174 bacteriophage. It possesses a strong affinity and specificity towards DNA-RNA hybrids. The dissociation constants of S9.6 have been measured to be around 0.6 nM for DNA-RNA hybrids and surprisingly, 2.7 nM for RNA-RNA hybrids that are rich in AU base pairs. |
