Description | This recombinant human antibody (clone MS473) is against S. aureus toxic shock syndrome toxin (TSST)-1. MS473 could inhibit TSST-1-induced mitogenesis and cytokine release in vitro. MS473 reacted with the peptides T1 and T2 involved in the binding of TSST-1 to the variable domain of the TCR β-chain (Vβ). MS473 showed no significant binding activity for the peptides M1 and M2 involved in the interaction between TSST-1 and MHC class II. |
