AIMP2-DX2 Protein

Product list
Aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase interacting multifunctional protein 2 (AIMP2, also known as p38/JTV-1) is one isoform of the three AIMPs that is involved in cancer development. AIMP2-DX2, one isoform of the aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase interacting multifunctional proteins (AIMPs), is shown to be a potential target in many cancers. AIMP2-DX2 is closely correlated to the severity of lung cancer and is positively related to drug resistance in ovarian cancer. Inhibition of AIMP2-DX2 may suppress the proliferation of lung cancer cells and restrain the tumor formation in nude mice. Thus AIMP2-DX2 acts as an oncogene, different from AIMP2.
