The immunoglobulin heavy chain (IgH) is the large polypeptide subunit of an antibody (immunoglobulin). There are five types of mammalian immunoglobulin heavy chain: γ, δ, α, μ and ε. They define classes of immunoglobulins: IgG, IgD, IgA, IgM and IgE, respectively.
