Oncofetal fibronectin (onfFN) is an extracellular matrix (ECM) protein synthesized by tumours and fetal tissue including placenta. The appearance of onfFN and other cellular FNs in cervico-vaginal secretions and maternal blood is associated with adverse pregnancy outcomes.
