| Description | This product is a monoclonal antibody against CD6 present on the surface of thymic epithelial cells, monocytes, activated T cells and a variety of other cells types. The antibody binds to the Scavenger receptor cysteine-rich (SRCR) domain 1(D1) of CD6. The CD6 antibody prevents the activation of T cells by inhibiting T cell proliferation by binding to a domain independent to the domain interacting with activated leukocyte cell adhesion molecule (ALCAM). |
