Description | The mAb100 recognizes ebola virus (EBOV) glycoprotein and binds to the bases of the Ebola virus glycoprotein (GP) trimer. This antibody blocks access to the cathepsin cleavage loop, and prevents the proteolytic cleavage of GP required for viral entry. The antibody potently neutralizes multiple EBOV isolates and protects non-human primates against all symptoms of ebola virus disease, such as viremia. |
