Description | This is an antagonist antibody that specifically reacts with human HAVCR2 (TIM-3) but does not murine HAVCR2. It effectively binds to activated T cells in both humans and marmoset monkeys, but not as strongly to macaques (cynomolgus and rhesus) monkey T cells. Additionally, this antibody can block the interaction of TIM-3 with three of its ligands. |
Clonality | Monoclonal |
Host Species | Human |
Target Species | Human, Monkey |
Immunogen | His-tagged recombinant human TIM-3 extracellular domain (ECD) protein |
Epitope | Extracellular domain |
Neutralization Mechanism | The antagonistic anti-TIM-3 antibody blocks ligand binding to abolish T cell inhibition, activate antigen-specific T cells, and improve anti-tumor immunity. |

Storage | Store at 4°C within a week. For longer storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. |
Application | ELISA; Antagonist; Block; FC |
Application Notes | In a competition-based ELISA, the antibody M6903, but not the isotype control antibody, partially inhibited the binding of huTIM-3-biotin to recombinant human Gal-9 (rhGal-9) in a concentration-dependent manner. The IC₅₀ value for this inhibition was determined to be 7.46 ± 0.052 nM. |
