Summary

Description 7C4 is a neutralizing antibody targeting the RT of HIV-1, derived from mouse. 7C4 interferes with the interaction between RT and the template primer and strongly inhibits the RNA-dependent polymerase activity of HIV-1 RT. This product has been determined by Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, Surface plasmon resonance and Inhibition assay.

Application Notes ELISA: After washing, 50 µl of 2 µg/mL IgG was added to each well and incubated for 1 h.
Surface plasmon resonance (SPR): The resonance unit from the chip incubated with different concentrations of antibody after washing with HBS buffer was recorded.
Inhibition assay: 7C4 Fab fragments induced 95% inhibition of RT activity at 400 nM.
