Description HuFd79 is a recombinant humanized antibody. This antibody was raised against Herpes simplex virus gB protein. Herpesvirus glycoprotein B is the most conserved of all surface glycoproteins and functions primarily as a fusion protein. gB and gH/gL are required for viral entry into cells and constitute the core fusion machinery.
