Summary

Description The antibody CV05-163 is a human mAb specific for SARS-CoV-2 Spike S1 protein. It has no somatic mutations, and binds to SARS-CoV-2 RBD with a KD of 0.2 nM as an IgG and 45.3 nM as a Fab. The antibody also exhibited high neutralization potency with an IC50 of 16.3 ng/ml against authentic SARS-CoV-2. It also extensively interacts with RBD-E484 via H-bonds (VH W50 and VH N58) and a salt bridge (VL R91) that explains why the binding and neutralization by the antibody were diminished by the E484K mutant.
