Description | This product is a mouse neutralizing antibody recognizing typhoid toxin, named TyTx11. It bounds to the CdtB subunit of typhoid toxin through the flexible region adjacent to the CdtB catalytic site containing the key residue His160. This antibody neutralizes typhoid toxin of Salmonella Typhi effectively. |

Application Notes | Surface plasmon resonance (SPR): Pilot experiments to optimize experimental parameters were then performed using 10-fold serial dilutions of each MAb injected at a flow rate of 50 μL/min with a contact time of 120 sec and dissociation time of 600 sec. Immunofluorescence (IF): The slides were stained with indicated antibodies for 2 hrs at room temperature, counterstained with DAPI, mounted using ProLong antifade mounting solution, and viewed. Neutralization assay (Neut): Infected cells were then incubated in complete cell culture medium containing 10 μg/mL gentamicin for 72 hours in the presence and absence of 10 nM MAbs. |
