Description | The antibody P5-22 is a human mAb specific for SARS-CoV-2 Spike S1 protein. It displayed ultrahigh potency for virus neutralization as well as an outstanding mutation resistance profile. It recognizes an epitope that almost completely overlaps ACE2's binding epitope in the receptor binding motif (RBM), suggesting that antibody and ACE2 would be sterically incompatible when synchronously binding to a single RBD. It showed ultrapotent authentic-virus neutralization activity. |
